It had nothing to do with the screen manufacturer. It had to do with viewing angle and poor contrast and a darker screen. After some time, it got difficult to look at. I couldn't adjust the angle of the screen so that the gradient at the bottom of the screen would go away, because the top of the screen would take on a slightly pink tint. I don't really care about the screen manufacturer, as long as I have a clear screen that's comfortable to look at.
The screen I have now is. Unfortunately it has a few slight scratches on the screen. They're not visible when the computer is turned on, so I will probably hold on to it.
