Has anybody any experience of the customer service in the uk Samsung shops.

Carphone Warehouse and their garbage after service, no longer have anything to do with the Samsung experience stores and they are solely owned by Samsung.

What’s getting hardware problems sorted like in these Samsung stores where they offer service and repairs?

It’s the only thing stopping me going to Samsung full time now and sellling my iPhone

I’ve had a couple of experiences hardware repairs with Samsung.

One was via walk-in support in a Samsung Store. The experience was positive. They took my phone in and repaired without fuss under warranty reasonably quickly (can’t remember exactly, but probably a couple of days).

The other was via post. This did not go well. My understanding is that if you need to post a device to them, the repair is handled by a 3rd party repair centre. This took longer and my device had to be sent to a 2nd repair centre because the first one did not have the capability to do the repair for some reason. To make this worse, the device had to be sent back to me from the first centre and then I needed to send to the 2nd (they couldn’t directly send it betweeen the two centres, I suspect because they were different companies).

Both of these repairs were a couple of years ago, so things may have changed.
