Samsung Smart Switch incompatible with M1?

I am so so close to buying a MBA M1, but the final hurdle in my purchase is the compatibility of samsung smart switch.

I did a lot of research and found that Samsung already fixed their smart switch and submitted it to apple, and just waiting for apple to approve it.

Has anyone been able to get smart switch working in their M1?

I have just downloaded and installed Smart Switch for Mac on my M1 MacBook Air, and it has successfully backed up my S10. The download file is just called SmartSwitchForMac_Setup.dmg, not smartswitch4 like the older version. The version number is 4.3.1.21071_1.
What triggered me to download it was a link on the Samsung Smart Switch website to download the app from the Mac App Store. It didn't take me to the App Store, but downloaded the installer. I had to restart twice to get SmartSwitch happy, after relevant permissions for extensions, but then it went right through.
