Hello!
I am using a Mac Pro Early 2008 Yosemite 10.10.4 and Mac Book Pro 2011 High Sierra.
I am trying to connect an external Samsung SSD 860 QVO with a StarTech.com Universal Hard Drive Docking Station (two disks).
The StarTech is connecting to my Mac Pro.
I already got a Sandisk SSD Pro 480gb connected to the Startech. This disk is working normally.
The second disk, a Samsung QVO worked well for about two weeks.
Since then, every time I connect the QVO disk, it disconnects just after mounting in the finder.
One second it appears and suddenly I get an error about drive ejected not properly.
I tried to use the QVO in a different disk bay (StarTech 1-2), same result, connect and disconnect.

Do you have a clue?
How can I fix it? What may be the cause?
I will be grateful for any help.
Best regard,

Samsung QVO drives are not compatible with Mac Pros, there are dozens of reports about QVO problems with Mac Pros, just use the search.

Change for a EVO or PRO model.
