Samsung SSD

Hi guys
I am relatively new to mac and I have iMac 5 k and have just bought a inateck
Caddy and a Samsung ssd 850 Evo
Can I ask do I just plug and play or do I have to download drives for the ssd
I will useing via usb for movies etc , any help would be great thanks

All you have to do is format it MacOS Extended (Journaled) and it will be ready for use as a new drive.
