Well my T240 finally dies (been a bit tinted and dull and had backlight issues for a while).

I have put in a request online for a replacement (pick up & swap they say...).

Has anyone had any experience with Samsung UK and warranty replacement on an LCD screen? just wanting to know what to expect and if I need any advice on how to deal with them (I am going to call on Monday to follow up the online request).

I've read some bad reports on forums and this fills me with dread (I really cannot be without it for long as Corel and my other main apps truly suck on my dell 17").
 
Update: 25/08/2010

The DPD man arrived this morning with a fresh new T240 in swap for my broked one. Plugged in and all is good again :)

not bad service tho the emails took a while to be replied to. 12 days I guess I should be quite happy.
