Samsungs revenge? Spam attack..

This morning I had 20 plus emails from strangers all saying sent from iphone on the signature. . Each email had forward messages attached to them from other people saying "from ....'s iphone"
Many had written. "I choose to opt out" as the message.
First time, strange occurance. Hopefully the last.

Probably just normal spam, not related to Samsung.

Spam is spam so just ignore it or use Gmail and it will ignore it for you

Shouldn't the spam say from "....'s Galaxy S III," if it is indeed Samsung-directed spam?
