I am on the UTC Mall (San Diego, CA) priority list since Tuesday 6/29, 8pm. I just called that Apple store and even though he couldn't tell me where I am on the list, he estimate another 1 to 2 weeks for me judging by when I got on the list.

No, I assumed adding myself to Fashion Valley's list now will be worse than waiting out for the UTC one.
The new Apple store in Carlsbad just got a large shipment in. Went to purchase a bumper for mine and that is sold out but they have plenty of iPhones, both 16 and 32.
Just called the Carlsbad store and they are all out -- my GF has been on the list since June 27th at Fashion Valley....
