Sandisk SSD

Hi all,
I am new here long time lurking, i have been reading about sandisk ssd's, I have 15"macbook pro mid 2012 bought in october, On january i put sandisk 480gb extreme ssd in my 15"macbook pro, i have not experienced any fan surges and i am very happy with it, very fast, just to let you know my experience. Only been mac user since feb 2011, would not return to pc's.

The issues are with the SSD's in Retina MBP's

Is it only confined to rmbp? not a sandisk ssd problem

SMC Update 1.1 has just been released today 14/3/13 for 15" Retina Macbook Pros.

Update seems to have gotten rid whatever problem was causing the fans to spin up, it also apparently fixes problems with the dedicated GPU in Windows when frame rates would drop.
