Does anyone have a good idea of the difference in performance between the 2011 i5 2.3GHz in the 13" and the 2.3GHz i7 in the 2012? Assuming both computers have an SSD and plenty of RAM, what sort of impact (if any) have people noticed in general web usage and overall responsiveness of navigating around the OS. I don't mean rendering times for video edits and things like that.

I ask because I have an early 2011 MBP 13" and sort of want to just upgrade the SSD and RAM, but at the same time I'd love to save for the base retina enabled MBP. Of course SSDs provide the most noticeable improvements, but I'm wondering if I'd likely feel slowdowns sometimes that would be rectified by the Quad i7. I suppose it's justification for saving up for the new MBP :p

Visiting an Apple store isn't really ideal because one isn't that close, and I'm talking about the sort of things you have to deal with over a long period of time, not just in a 15 minute test or so.
