Hello all,
I've noticed a strange thing with my SR 17" MBP that when it's hot, I can't boot the unit. Although it's not a big deal because I usually have a battery in the unit but if it's a defect, I should get it fixed since it's still under applecare.
Can anyone else try this with their Santa Rosa? Boot the unit in target mode and let it heat up to the point where the fan is going full blast. Then, power off the unit, pull the battery out, and try to boot the unit on AC alone. My computer wont boot although I recall it used to because i used to regularly remove the battery to reduce heat.
Thanks.
