I am new to this forum and I am really concidering buying a MB in the next few months. I am fed up with windows and need to replace a dying Toshiba laptop.

As I have been researching these threads I hear a lot about the new Santa Rosa MB laptops. Although I am computer friendly, I do not consider myself an expert, esp on Macs.

What is the difference between the old MB's and the Santa Rosa ones?

Sorry if this seems stupid, I just want to make sure I research before I buy.

Thank you!

Faster processor (on the higher spec ones)
Can use more RAM (4GB instead of 3.3GB)
Different keyboard layout
Updated graphics

erm. some more stuff too.

Probably better battery life (less power hungry system), though I haven't actually seen this confirmed anywhere.
