I am about to receive a Sanyo Xacti WH1 and have the newest (well, not NEW NEWEST, but the one before that) of Final Cut Studio (2).
I know that it records to SD Cards.
How do you suggest I import files?
Thanks guys.

Final Cut probably will not support the Xacti. Even though FCP has some support for AVCHD camcorders, I've tried importing with my Webbie HD and it didn't work. But try for your self and maybe it works. To do this, you would go to file>log and transfer. And if you're lucky, it will recognize the camera. Good Luck.

It appears that the Xacti cameras record MPEG-4 video with an .mp4 wrapper. FCP can't edit MPEG-4 video natively. You should be able to use MPEG Streamclip (free application) to convert the video to an edit-friendly format like DV, ProRes 422, AIC, etc.

You would probably want to use ProRes 422 or AIC at 720p30 if you're shooting in HD mode.
