Sapphire screens never in the mix?

One analyst just stated that sapphire was never in consideration for the Iphone 6 or 6+. Others said it just missed by a few weeks. So what was the screen in the infamous Marques Brownlee video. It had thin bezels and was very bendable and pretty scratch resistant. I would have been very happy with that screen.

IDK about that. I think they just had production issues and the manufacturer couldn't guarantee that they would be on-time. That's probably the speculation that we heard about the 6+ being a later release date.

I think they were planning on using Sapphire up until they weren't...if that makes sense.

Good question. But seeing that a reviewer dropped their iPhone by accident and it completely shattered, we can safely assume that whatever they are using hasn't done very much.
