As many vendors/shops seem to be using the term case when they actually mean a caddy or enclosure for SATA drives I am having trouble finding actual cases for SATA hard drives - as in you take a drive out, you want to keep it protected from humidity, dust etc - storage cases for HDDs basically. Archive/storage cases. Not caddies/enclosures that allow attachment!

Looking for a reasonable 3.5" form factor case I can then use to transport HDDs to/from home and keep an archive of data in case the house burns down (I do also use an offsite online storage archive).

Also if anyone has any recommendations for a 1-2 disk SATA toaster type dock, USB 2.0 and/or firewire?

I find it strange that I'm an enterprise storage engineer (I work on IBM DS8000s, EMC VMAX, SAN etc) but yet fail to find the equipment above :)

Thanks all,
Simon
