I consider buying the Samsung 840 pro SSD HD and use it as an external drive combined with a USB 3.0 connection to my late 2012 iMac. I see the the SSD drive is sata III and Sata I/II compatible, while the enclosure like the Zalman ZM-HE130 usb 3.0 are is only Sata I/II compatible. Will I loose data transfer speed, if I go ahead with this combo?

yes.

sata 3 is faster, and the hardware needs to be able to support this increased speed (ie. there might be some extra connectors, not sure but you rarely see speed bumps software side only)

So what i actually need is a sata III compatible enclosure for my Samsung 840 Pro SSD. Any suggestions? I can't find such enclosures.
