SATA II SSD for macbook6,1

I've read that some SSDs run at SATA I speed in the macbook6,1 (late 2009), namely OCZ and Intel. I believe this has something to do with the firmware which will never be updated.

Has anyone gotten other SSDs to run at SATA II speed? Thanks for sharing the info.
