I have both a Mac Pro and a Macbook Pro, both with SATA II on them. Considering that SATA II maximum speed is 375mb/s (3Gbit/8 = 375) would is it possible to achieve such speeds with the Intel 510? Or is the 375mb/s speed just theoretical and real world usage is more or less around the 300mb/s mark (in line with the Intel 320 Series).

I just bought the Intel 320 SSD (120gb) but am thinking of returning it in exchange for the 510 to put in my Mid 2010 Macbook Pro as its maximum speed is 400mb/s, to completely saturate SATA II bandwidth.

Thanks!
