Will an SATA PCI card kit work properly in my G4, with an SATA Hard Disk?

This is what the card looks like:

Will it work?

NO! AFAIK, Sabrent is a windblows-only vendor.....ie they don't make any mac-compatible stuff.....

look for explicit mac-compatibility in the specs, from either Sonnet, FirmTek, or SIIG brand cards.
I know those cards work because I've had a few of each in my B&W's & Sawtooths, DA's etc, and am currently running a SIIG in my QS :p

Yahoo link is to a Windows only unit..

You need a Mac-Compatible unit for the G4 unit..

I got a SIIG SATA card (4-port) in my Gigabit Ethernet G4 System from http://Macsales.com ..

In fact this:card..Now i can put 4 TBs of storage in the unit without installing another Sata card..
