Hello!

Does anyone of you kno whether those cheap PCMCIA SATA cards, which give you two external SATA ports, do work under OSX within a Powerbook Titanium DVI PCMCIA cage? I can´t´find any of those cards which explicitely states mac compatibility. There are always driver discs mentionned for Windows (right from 98 to XP), but no OSX in sight.

That´s one of those: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1816334&sku=C250-2378

I want to attach some external SATA enclosures to my Powerbook.

Anyone?

Oh, ...

... you MacRumors guys - and girls, of course - are great. Always fast and reliable help handy exactly when needed.

I finally found another one here: http://fwdepot.com/thestore/product.../1109?osCsid=7d78666ff3df4e0b110f7491ad8921a6

It´s another US$20 cheaper and sells for US$ 69,-. But still the PC only variant sells for around US$25,- to 35,- average. I wonder what makes this huge price difference here. Crazy.

Thanks a lot.
