SATA spec on old MBP

I am trying to find out what SATA controller I have on my MBP. I found the specs here, but dont see the SATA spec.

Anyone know where I can find this?

Im at work right now, dont have access to it. Im looking at some SSD deals and trying to see if its even worth getting.

The page you linked to says you have a Serial ATA 1,5 Gbps (S-ATA I) interface.

Ah, i searched for SATA on that page. Since it only does SATA 1, im not sure if its even worth spending the $$$ on a SSD.

Sounds like you have experience with SSDs. Are there any issues with partitioning and installing BootCamp? Im currently on Leopard but will be getting 4GB of RAM added soon, then I will upgrade to Lion. I would like to partition the drive and have BC with Win7.

Well I have only added SSD to mi iMac G5 (with has also SATA I) so I can't help you with partitioning, I just wanted to say that since I upgraded the SSD I could not be happier.

The reason SSD has not made it into my MBP is that I need more space than I can buy right now, and btw, I have the same one as you do.

I think you should not have any problems with bootcamp, or Lion. Then again YMMV depending on which SSD you go for.
