SATA SSD Upgrade Adapter for Mid-2013 MBP

Hi everyone,

I'm upgrading the SSD in my wife's mid-2013 MacBook Air (A1466). I purchased a 1TB Crucial MX500 M.2 2280, which is a SATA drive (https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX50...locphy=9004010&hvtargid=pla-440132000293&th=1)

I cannot for the life of me find the proper adapter to make it work, though.

and the connectors are correct, but the overall board is too long to fit in the space for the mid-2013 SSD slot. This fits in the late 2012 Air and is mislabeled on Amazon.

I cannot find the same adapter to fit in the mid-2013, though?!

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!

The MX500 will not work in a mid-2013 Air.

The mid-2013 Air needs a NVMe drive and the MX500 is Sata.
