SATA vs PCI in a 1,1

Hi,
Want to put a bigger SSD in my 1,1 what are the speed comparisons of something like the OWC PCI SSD vs a Crucial M500 SSD? I have an old Samsung 830 which I have no space on now. Ideally I would like the PCI so I have my 4 drive bays but what are the speed differences
