Satechi today added a range of new accessories to its line of FindAll products, all of which integrate with Apple's Find My app. Satechi is debuting a new FindAll Luggage Tag, a FindAll Keychain, a FindAll Card, and a FindAll Glasses Case. Satechi's FindAll products work like Apple's AirTags, but come in different shapes and sizes that are more convenient than the $29 AirTag.

The FindAll Keychain, priced at $30, is an alternative to the AirTag. It is made from a vegan leather material and can be attached to keys or any other item with the included keyring. The battery lasts for up to 12 months before it needs to be recharged.

Satechi's FindAll Luggage Tag is $44.99 and also made of the same vegan leather material as many of the FindAll products. It is designed to attach to a suitcase, and it includes a name card slot that's protected with a privacy flap and an adjustable strap. Since it looks like a regular luggage tag, it is more covert than an AirTag. Its battery lasts for up to eight months before needing to be recharged.

For wallets, the FindAll Card is $34.99. It is sized to fit inside a wallet, and it is made from aluminum and tempered glass. To ensure that it can withstand any conditions, it features IP67 water resistance.

To keep glasses or sunglasses safe and easy to find, Satechi offers the $49.99 FindAll Glasses Case. The Glasses Case has a collapsible design that folds out to accommodate a pair of glasses, with a microsuede lining to prevent scratches and a magnetic closure. The battery in the case lasts for up to eight months before it needs to be recharged.

The FindAll devices can be purchased in black, white, or desert rose, and they recharge wirelessly with a Qi, Qi2, or MagSafe charger. All of the products can be added to the Items tab in the Find My app, and can be tracked alongside Apple devices. Apple's Find My network is able to leverage nearby Apple devices owned by other people to get location information when a device is out of Bluetooth range.

The new FindAll products can be purchased from the Satechi website as of today.

I would never put a luggage tracker on the outside of my suitcase where it could easily be removed or even accidentally yanked off.
I always wondered the point of this or putting one on a backpack, purse, etc that isn’t hidden.

I originally wanted one of the bag loops when Apple first released it to have an “Apple keychain” but then realized if someone is going to steal my bag, they are also going to rip it off and toss it or take the battery out and sell it.

Seems very counterintuitive. Now, I hide mine in the stitching to at least make it hidden and buy time if someone were to steal it.

My questions as well. The description has: "Stay effortlessly connected to your belongings with the Find My app. By pinging your FindAll™ Card, you can trigger a loud, audible chime and receive precise directions to your item’s location."

So does this actually have precision finding or not? Are there any cards with precision finding?

Exactly my thoughts as well.

If I were a thief and nabbed one of these snazzy cases, that tag would be off tout de suite and in the bin.
Why not both? Place an AirTag inside for Precision Tracking and Satechi outside as an actual luggage tag with a bonus of being trackable 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was about to make the exact comment before seeing yours. I keep seeing all these luggage holders for AirTags and I figure I'm best just putting the tag somewhere inside. I can't see the luggage itself blocking the signal much.

I might have missed some, but all third party FindMy trackers I have seen to date don’t have precision finding.

For example I would have been interested in this Nomad card which is a nicer form factor than an AirTag to track a wallet (and has a rechargeable battery), but no precision finding is a showstopper for me: https://nomadgoods.com/eu/products/tracking-card

They don’t say it clearly, but I suspect these Satechi accessories have the same limitation.

Well, I have a Rimowa case in aluminium, signal is really poor outside of it.

Had my bag get lost in transfer recently and could continue to track as it made its delayed journey to me. It's not like it made a difference in it arriving, but I wasn't really worried about it this way.

@bob24 @jsm1985 Apple hasn’t made precision finding available to third parties.

Argh this is kind of ruining FindMy licensing for me.

Approximate GPS coordinates are great, but especially for small objects you can misplace amongst other things, precision finding is kind of the killer app vs other tracking systems.

If possible I would prefer a rechargeable battery and the tracking electronics to be build directly into the item. But I wouldn’t but a glassed case which doesn’t have precision finding if I can put an AirTag inside my existing case and have precision finding. And the same thing pretty much applies to all the items they are releasing here.

I love the reporting on this website but could I make one suggestion specific to this topic: please always comment on precision finding, the review is incomplete without it. It seems with almost every article here on an AirTag competitor that there is no comment on this crucial feature.

Without precision finding frankly it doesn’t matter what other benefits the third party device has, it is comparing apples with oranges.

Yup. When I'm trying to find my 95 year old mom in a large department store after we go in different directions, I don't need to know she's somewhere in the store, since I already know that--I want to know WHERE she is in the store.

I might have to cop one of those wallet trackers, the one I currently have has a non rechargeable battery and it hurts my soul

Trust me, it will hurt your soul more when you are in a rush getting out the door and you can’t find your wallet because it’s buried somewhere in the house where you can’t hear the sound and you don’t have precision tracking. Just get a wallet that has an AirTag pocket.
