I have heard mixed things about these. I ended up going with the Hagibis MC25 Pro dock (not delivered yet), but the Qwiizlab also gets good reviews - they appear to be identical. I have heard that both are power hungrier than expected, and that you may need to plug either into an external charger to get full power, but can't speak to this from experience as the dock has not been delivered yet. I picked it because I have an nVME SSD and a SATA SSD, the Satechi does not support nVME transfer speeds.

I read not good things about any of them to be honest so I see it as luck of the draw what ever one you decide on.
I posted here to see what way people would lean, as in towards the Satechi or towards another make. As I say I read bad things about all three, Satachi, Hagibis and Qwiizlab in general operation. I only leaned towards the Satechi because of the way the Mac Mini sits on the top without sliding around and that they have a pretty good after sales service.

Yeah, if they had an NVMe option that's probably what I would have purchased. They seem to all have pretty significant drawbacks.

Is this hub an OK purchase to use as a general usage multiport hub or can somebody suggest something better for the Mac Mini M2 ?
I think it's better to have separate external drives, card readers etc for the mini.
I came from a iMac 5K and was worried about not having enough ports etc but when reading all the linitations these hubs have I decided to simply get all pieces separate.

That's OK and a good idea but unless you have a top end Mac Mini M2 by the time you have a mouse and keyboard connected either by wired means or dongles for each and a second monitor connected there is not much connectivity left on the back.

I have all wireless Apple keyboard/mouse so that is not an issue. I have one monitor connected via TB4/USB-C and one external ssd via TB4/USB-C and a external HDD via USB-A. I have one USB-A port open for random attachments like card readers etc. I have my iMac 5K connected via universal control and use Airdrop for file sharing between a few other macs. I have the hdmi open for an additional screen I sometimes attach. I have the regular mini M2 16/512 and I am very satisfied with it... If I need an additional FB4/USB-C I simply eject the external ssd.
