Satechi today announced the launch of its Quatro Wireless Power Bank, which offers wireless and portable charging options for the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch.

There's a small wireless charging pad to accommodate the iPhone, AirPods, or AirPods Pro, along with a built-in Apple Watch charging puck for charging the Apple Watch. The charging pad offers up to 5W of charging power for Qi-based devices and 2.5W for the Apple Watch.

The Quatro also includes a 12W USB-A port and a USB-C port that can be used to fast charge an iPhone, an iPad Pro (it supports up to 18W), or charge the Quatro itself when it's out of power.

Satechi says that its 10,000mAh Power Bank was designed with an Apple aesthetic in mind, and it's meant to be compact to fit easily into a purse or backpack. LED indicator lights let you know what the charge level is at.

The Quatro Wireless Power Bank can be purchased from the Satechi website for $100 and shipments will start in mid-October, but customers who pre-order now can get a $20 discount using the promo code QUATRO when checking out on Satechi's website.

It's an elegant travel solution, and I like the gloss and idea. The problem is that I don't want my accessories hanging off the charger like that, sliding off with every movement. And who wants the watch band all sprawled out like that when the band so neatly wraps? A way to innovate and be poised for a table product like shown would be to create an affordable dock that fits all 3 (with the battery at the base) and somehow modularize it with interchangeable blocks that would dock different devices so I could keep it for years to come. This would lend to a hardware ecosystem rather than just a once-off product.

If you have a loop band on your watch, do you tip the whole thing so everything else slides off? Or hang it off the edge of the table?

The problem I‘d have with this is that I could not leave my sport loop watch band attached.

You can invert the loop so that the charging face is facing down. It's kind of annoying, but it's the only workaround.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I pre-ordered today. This will be great for travel.

Add the price of a wireless charger, an APPLE Watch charger, and a 10kmAh battery together.
This is a deal. Especially with the $20 discount.
$35.99 + $10.98

Elegant charging solution (and I welcome the status LEDs) and not ridiculously priced.

But having it emulate the form factor and design ethic of the slippery soap bar iPhone 6-11 that's about to be imminently obsoleted after 6 years, was not exactly forward thinking.

Nice, but super expensive for what you can get. Ideally I want a charger that has the Apple Watch charging puck and wireless charging for the iPhone/Airpods. It also should have 2 USB A ports, 1 USB C input/output, and one lightning input port too or a built in wall plugs. And also needs to have at least 15k mAh capacity lol.
There are a few on Amazon that are almost perfect but don't have enough capacity or still require you to carry charging cable+wall plug.

Wireless charging is nice, I use it 95% of the time but a power bank version isn't efficient enough since you only have a certain capacity which will be lost through charging anyway. So that 10k mah bank is probably less than 5k mah in reality. I'd rather plug it in to get the most power from the bank.

Yea it's cool it's a portable self powered wireless charger. But the main question is can it pass through charge.

Also 5 watt wireless charging? It will take like 5hrs to fully charge an iPhone 11 pro max. And with 10kmah, I doubt it can fully charge it. Hahaha

When will we get true wireless charging?
Well at least it's closer in that you only need the cord to charge it, and not constantly to use it. But agree I would never go portless until Apple's wireless gains speed, range and public availability

Yea you will probably be lucky to get 5000mAh out of the wireless charging part. I would bet closer to 3333. Had one of those Mophie Access, and it was horrid how wasteful it was. I don't understand why that is the only kind they make now. I will take a lightning port over wireless every time for a charging case

Couldn’t you just detach one end?

Ya that's another solution I didn't think of. Good idea. For home use, I'd personally prefer a solution that has the watch charger sticking up for the purpose of nightstand mode. I was never a big fan of AirPower's proposal to leave the watch flat.
