Satellite internet in the UK

Hi,

My friend is desperate to get broadband, but lives in a remote area where it is not possible to receive broadband through his telephone line. He asked me if I could help him find a satellite internet provider as he is not having much luck.
What he would like is 1mb download for as cheap as possible. Anyone got any recommendations, or links to companies that can provide satellite internet.

Has he tried going to samknows.com and putting in his details to see if satellite downloads are offered in his area?
