Saturday Delivery Thoughts?

Think it's going to happen?

I've seen multiple "confirmations" either way.

UPS drivers saying they're scheduled for extra hours tomorrow
or
automated systems saying Monday delivery...

And of course Apple Customer Service on both sides, at the same time.

I'm not sure what to think.

But what I do know, is it's in Apple's best interest to get them into as many peoples hands as possible this launch weekend. Waiting 3 days between first and second delivery is a bit extreme, especially with the trickle that was delivered today.

There's definitely still time to move the overnight deliveries into place...

Thoughts? Theories?
 
My email shows Monday delivery so most likely no to Saturday delivery being possible for anybody.
 
From what I have seen it seems like they are going to do 2nd attempts on Saturday but not first time deliveries...that may be where the confusion is coming from.

Ah that's interesting.

I think there's definitely still time to do it.
5 flights coming in from anchorage to louisville in the next two hours.

We'll see, I guess

And I've seen UPS drivers say yes, and talked to support reps that are saying there will be Saturday deliveries. *shrugs*

I hope to see some more charges occur when those flights land overnight...this is hopefully why some of us in the midwest with the original delivery range were not charged before people with the second delivery window.

There's a whole bunch of charges dropping in the Space Gray thread right now.
 
Both FedEx and UPS deliver on Sat as some may know.

In my area they'll deliver if they're loaded with packages in order to clear the way for Monday. At least that's what the general manager of my local FedEx depot has said. I get deliveries on Sat for some packages designated for Monday.

If my 2nd Watch arrives tomorrow, even though Apple has it marked for Monday, I won't be the least bit surprised. It's just one more reason FedEx is my first choice by far.

Amex charged today, order went from processing to preparing to ship to shipped. Tracking number active and shipping from the Mt Juliet, TN facility 20 miles from me. Tracking suggests Monday late afternoon / early evening delivery. I doubt we will se Saturday delivery. Most Apple correspondence said "business day" with regards to delivery. I am bummed because will be out of town all next week.

Oh man, I'll be hoping for sat delivery for you then! Only 20 miles to go for you!
 
I was told by an Apple Rep. over the phone that they are doing Saturday delivery for this particular product. But I don't know what to beleieve from them.

This is correct!! Due to the fact I was late leaving work to meet up with UPS today. Then called UPS because MYUPS.com said they will attempt 2nd del on Monday!! So I called customer service at UPS and they said they are doing 2nd attempt deliveries on Saturday. :)

Well. Maybe that means they can get first attempts out too... We'll see....
 
Anybody have anything out for delivery today?

Mine made it from louisville at 2:30 am, to my local customer center at 6:30. I'm seriously hoping some magic happens and it gets on the truck for delivery today....
