Savage 2: A Tortured Soul (FPS/RTS/RPG) now free

I see that Savage 2 (Intel only) is now free without limits, and at first glance it looks really good (I had to turn down the settings a bit to avoid glitches/slowdowns on my nVidia 7600 iMac).

It combines FPS, RPG and RTS elements--and it gets great reviews despite a steep learning curve for newcomers.

I'm gonna download and try this on my aluminum macbook 2.4ghz

I can't get it to perform smoothly in combat, but it still looks like fun. Very complex though--I feel a little lost! And I've never really done any 3D melee combat before, which is a big part of the game.

I recommend turning the Shader setting down if black glitches appear.
