save a Podcast ? copy to jumpdrive?

Hello Mates :

am trying to learn another language with a Podcast

how can I save these to take with /play on car drive - as I have an mp3 playing /usb car stereo ?

I guess that it comes down to the format. You can convert the files to mp3 using iTunes and drag them directly to the flash drive.

To explain more - it is a web based podcast - when I play on computer it plays on a Quicktime webpage - dont know how to /if I can save it to iTunes or in any mp3 format

Can you post a link to it? I know some sites, like wsbradio.com, that don't let you save it, it's a streaming audio file.

To download the audio instead of have it play in Safari... just hold down the Option key when you click on the link. That should save it to disk and you can just copy it to your usb drive from there.

Despite having used the Mac for upwards of 4 years now... I discovered the option-click trick just a few months ago . It is indeed simple and useful.
