when 'printing' a webpage to pdf, there are details printed on all corners of the page (title, url, page count, date).

is there a way to set which of them are to be printed to the pdf?

Under Safari and Tiger, the option is in the "Safari" section of the Print window. There is a checkbox for "Print headers and footers."

Just to back up WildCowboy, I didn't actually know this and at first couldn't see it.

So File - Print

then press this button

It turns into the following window and you can see the options down at the bottom

I suppose I should join in the fun and post the Tiger screenshot. :D

*just to get really anal

you can tell those screen shots were from leopard because the window was 10% transparent...all dropdown windows and menus in leopard are about 10% transparent:eek:

*p.s. nice question

nice. :)

completely missed the down arrow next to the printer!

I had never used that button before either and was a be bemused with WildCowboy's instructions but found it after a little prodding. So i'm glad I came across this thread.
