Hi There,
My hard drive crashed yesterday, and I luckily had installed leopard on another drive on my computer and booted from that. It recognizes my old drive as a damaged volume that should be backed up and reformatted immediately...
I have dragged and dropped the applications into the new drives application folder, and dragged and dropped Application Support to the new folder. Is there anything else I should do to make sure Final Cut and Photoshop will remain the same?
Also, Final Cut Pro, I dragged and dropped Final Cut into my new applications folder, but I can't find my serial number (I moved recently and things are still in boxes) so I can't start it. Same with Photoshop. Is there a way to get the serial number from my old drive? Also is there a way to move my settings so it will know where to look for the media from old projects?
PS. Is there a way to save my old Dashboard?
ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Jack
