just curious when you "save image as desktop wallpaper" where does that actual file save to???

when you right click a picture, I'm aware of an option to "save image as" and "use image as desktop picture", but i'm not familiar with an option to "save image as desktop wallpaper"... are you sure that's the correct wording of the option?

It saves it to as your desktop wallpaper, wherever that file resides. Exactly like it says. Seems pretty much common sense to me.

When you right click and choose "Use Image as Wallpaper" it doesn't get saved anywhere. It's just used as your wallpaper. Once you change the wallpaper you can't go back into system preferences and choose it again. It sort of goes into the clipboard.

ok thanks!!

Rofl this guy posted the correct answer, and all of you kept on saying there was no way... jeez...

If by "all of you" you mean one person, then yes.
Way to resurrect an old thread to make a useless comment, by the way.
Great job.
