My MBP has been acting all sorts of messed up for a while now and I have decided to wipe the system and do a clean install of leopard. I was wondering if there was a way to backup my mails settings so I could plug them back into my new system and have all of my emails, contacts, and folders still be there. Does anyone know how to do this?

You have to copy the following:

1. Users/user/Library/Mail - the folder

2. Users/user/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist - the file

And then you put them there again after you finished re-installing.
