Save/Transfer/Backup Game Save Files?

Is there a way to do this either through normal methods or through a jailbreak?

I'd really like to backup my save files in certain games or transfer them to another iDevice that I get down the line.

If you continuously back up your iPhone to iTunes then you're fine. When you get that new iPhone, restore from the same back up.
