Saved Doc's not visible from Desktop folder

Not sure why 2 simple .Doc files aren't visible via Desktop Folder.
Whilst both Folder+Files Are Visible via Finder , Drag+Drop isn't working via 3rd party Web Site.
When I use Upload to find my Files contained inside saved Folder,both Files stay greyed therefore unuploadable.
