Hello,

Not sure if this is the best Forum for this.
If not, please let me know.

Most of the time when I place a shortcut to a site that
I want to go back to later, it opens up as just All lines.

How can I do a Save that will re-open up as the original site is.
Same graphics, etc.

Thanks,
Bob

"Most of the time when I place a shortcut to a site..."

What does this mean?

Do you mean "create a bookmark"?
Or... something else...?

To bookmark a site, just type "command-D". You'll then see a dialog asking where you want to save it, and you can modify the name if you wish.

Another way to "save" a webite address is to create a webloc file.
That's a small file that can be saved on your desktop or wherever you wish.

To create a webloc, I do this:
a. be at the page you wish to save
b. place the pointer into the URL bar "up top", and click once or twice so that the entire URL is highlighted like this:
menu.png

c. now, click and HOLD the mouse button on the "favicon" on the left, and NOT LETTING GO, drag it onto the desktop and release it.
menu2.png

This should create a small webloc file that you can move around like any other file., rename, send via email, etc.

I keep a few on my desktop for "quick access".
Others stored in other locations...
