Saving Away Messages in ichat

When leopard comes out I'm going to be backing up all my data and doing a clean install. I was curious how can I backup my away messages that are saved in ichat. Any ideas?

Away messages (and many other preferences) are stored in <username>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iChat.plist. There are several other iChat-related .plist files in that same folder that store things like login info for your accounts.
