saving in audacity...problems.

I started using audacity a few months ago to start making mixes. I have found that 50% of the time that I save and try to open the file at a later date that there are sections of the file missing.

Does anyone else have this problem? I have tried re-installing it, but the problems persists.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried reinstalling, thats a bizarre problem, i've not heard of it. You could try emailing audacity's makers, they have someone on macrumors acting as a mac tester of sorts i think, if this thread hangs around enough, they might notice.
