I'm not sure if I had overlooked something, but I would like to save a file as an mp3 from garageband, yet all I seem to be able to save are garageband files. Is there something I can do?

Thanks

You have to export to itunes and convert it there.

M4A is better anyways.

you don't save you export btw.

Share > Export to iTunes.

Then in iTunes, find Importing Preferences and change the file type to MP3.

Right click your song, select 'Convert to MP3' and you're done!
