Saving Multiple Desktops ON MBP

This has probably been posted before but thousands of threads to look at.

How do I save my multiple desktops on Lion. Each time I reboot I have to re-arrange the damn things and its starting to Piss me Off !

Yes I do click re-open open windows!

As in, how do you make specific programs always open on specific desktops? Right click on the program in the dock when you've got it on the desktop you want, then select Options > Assign To "This Desktop".

You might also want to un-check "Automatically rearrange spaces based on most recent use" in the Mission Control prefpane.
