A friend of mine and I use AIM to send pictures quite often, and when I used a PC, I could simply right-click the image and save it... or, since I used DeadAIM to log my conversations, it saved the pictures for me.

With iChat, it does save the images along with the conversations, but I have no idea how to extract the images from the conversation. It saves each conversation as a single file and I can view the pictures within the iChat window, but I can't seem to save the pictures individually unless I use Grab and take a screenshot or something, which seriously degrades some photos...

Anyone know how I can save them?

Just drag the photo you want to the desktop, and it will automatically save it to your hard drive. You can then place it anywhere you want on the system.
