Is there away to transfer voicemails from the iphone as a data file on to my MBP? or possibly foward it as a data file through email? This would really help me keep my voicemail box from being constantly full....Thanks!

There's no official way to save voicemails off the phone.
Maybe through jailbreaking?

Yes, there is a way but it doesn't look exactly user friendly. Also, you have to have a jail broken phone to do so.

Click here for some instructions for either a Mac or PC

I haven't seen a way to do so without jail breaking yet.

The messages are stored server side -- do you mean "full" as in having a long list of messages?

Other than archival/safe keeping - why do you want to delete them?

Record it from headphone to Line in is the only way I know of.

TEG

This is probably the simplest suggestion.

I'm sure some more technically savvy folks could find a way by Jailbreaking their phones. If the data is stored on the phone.
