How can I save the content of a web address on my HD so that I can view it later when I am not connected to the internet? Is there an easy way to do this?

eMail the page to you...

you can Cmd-I on an open page in Safari and email that page with the images and links active…

you prolly knew that awready tho…

The method I like the best is to go to File-Print and [depending on which system you have, I have 10.4] on the bottom left there is a PDF pull down menu allowing you to save the entire site as a PDF for future offline viewing/printing.

i looked at that PDF -> Preview option... it seems OK but i like the fact that the links are active if you use the Cmd-I option to email the page...

The only problem with that option is that he wanted something that he could look at when not connected to the internet. So if he's offline he can't click the links in the e-mail. It will, however, bring him to the page he selected so if that's all he needs it would work.
