downloaded last night and it works great. Although I like Vlingo, Say Who just works so much faster/better.

What do you guys think of a new update?

Are you using the free version or the pro one? Both were updated. I'm interested in whether it is worth paying for the pro version. It isn't obvious what I gain, though.

I got a free version. Paid version has a "playback" on all the time (if you want). On a free version you have to turn it on every time you open the application. There is more difference... I just dont now what else.

what are your opinions on Say Who vs. Melodis Dialer (which I currently use)? I used to use Say Who, but found it kind of slow.

I used to favor Melodis too, but the recent updates to Say Who have drawn me back to it. So I obviously would recommend you look at it again.

Hmm - it looks like Say Who requires a connection back to their servers to process the voice command. Obviously, you will have a connection if you are trying to dial - but I'd prefer no to have to use that extra power + time to transmit/receive results. Anyone know if Melodis does this too? Maybe it's really a non-issue for me.

This seems to be an option in the latest update. In settings, there is an option to turn caching on or off. If it's on, there is caching to the server. If not, I gather it is self contained.
