SBSettings, what's the point?

Everyone raves about SBSettings, I downloaded a airplane safe mode? Theme I believe and I deleted it to use Edius HD, and now I can't use Edius, because it doesn't pop up anywhere. And also my MakeItMine app doesn't work, why would this interfere, do I need to delete strings somewhere? And why won't Edius HD work?

But what is the major advantage of SBSettings? I don't see the greatness of it. Why get it? Thank you.

its just a quicker way to access some settings

like brightness
toggle on/off things like
3G
Bluetooth
wi-Fi
Airplane Mode

plus many more toggles you can find on cydia
 
I see. I only enjoyed the respring. Well I have serious SBSettings installed, but it doesn't work, it won't pop up or show anywhere what am I doing wrong? How do I get it to work?
 
I know this, but it seems fairly flawed. It just won't work. I downloaded one that worked but it looks like crap, and none of the others work. What am I doing wrong? And why would it interfere with MIM!? (Make It Mine). Just really frustrating..

are you talking about different sbsetting themes?
 
Lycanthroat, when I go into activator I can't find my Sbsetting that downloaded anywhere when I go to select an action fr it. For my last theme o didnt even have to select one it was just the top status bar swipe. I must be doing something wrong.
 
Rick, yes sort of. The theme I want won't work. And I dot understand why.

for the theme swipe your status bar to open sbsettings hit "more" than your will see themes check the theme you want, respring and it should change i use serious sbsettings hd it works
 
SBSettings is wonderful for shortcuts. All sorts of themes work. User error does not equal SBSetting/themes not working. :)

One of the best things it does is give you access to SafeMode (through the power settings) so that if you lock up your phone by installing something that makes your phone very... unhappy, you can activate SBSettings and then turn on SafeMode and disable what you just did. A real lifesaver. Also, SHSH is there. And Processes. And Location. And WiFi and Bluetooth. I use it more than any other tweak on my phone.
 
Iisforiphone, when I swipe I don't have SBSettings, even though it's installed..
 
You probably have some activator settings that need to be configured.

settings>activator>anywhere

Most people use swiping left/right on the status bar to activate their SBSettings panel, but you can of course customize it.

I figured out my probl, I just needed to go to More and then SBSettings theme... It was on default I guess and that was my problem. Very happy to have a better looking one up now. Thank you for your help guys.
