I am an MBP owner and an owner of a 24" monitor that I hook up to frequently. One thing that irritates me when switching between the two (one lower screen resolution than the other) is that the windows just float in place instead of intelligently resizing itself to fit the screen.
I know I can click on the green zoom button, but is there a way to automate this without having to mess with that control every time I make the switch?
Possible solution: Is there a way to use screen resolution changes as a trigger to run an AppleScript that'll "refit/zoom" the focused window?
