Scanner not showing up in Image Capture

So I added a new printer an HP PSC 1315 all-in-one. I downloaded the drivers from the hp website and managed to get it to print. What should I do? I don't mind using another program to scan but I don't know what to use since I've never tried scanning anything on my Mac before. I am running 10.7.2 and the driver for the printer is version 1.0.1.

I tried to scan from Preview but my device isn't showing up there either and when I go to the print queue for this printer there is no Scan option either.

Doesn't HP have some software for that scanner / printer?
Have you tried Preview > File > Import from scanner yet?

Nothing showing up on Software Update and this is what I found on their website. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&softwareitem=mp-41992-1
Can I use that? It says Mac OSX v 10.3 and 10.4.
Tried Preview but devices isn't showing up.
