This is a scanner question really, but I am on a Mac and maybe you Mac guys, or at least computer guys, know where to go.
The scanner is giving an error message which says there is an error communicating with the scanner. I researched the error code with no luck. It is a printer with a fax and scanner built in. I checked the manual and there is nothing there with a malfunctioning scanner. The printer is connected because it responded to a ping test and gave back a continuous stream of pings (and it also printed something). I am trying to set the printer/scanner/fax machine in another way by typing the IP address in an internet browser and it is asking for a network path. Every "network path" that I have tried is bringing an error. Where would I find the actual network path? Apparently mine aren't good enough.
This printers scanner originally worked, but now it is having that communication error all of a sudden. I don't know why.
Any ideas?
