I have a HP printer/scanner combo and I'm finding the scanner to be a constant source of frustration. The HP software is, simply put, a piece of crap.

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a quality scanner to pick up (anywhere up to $200) that has some decent software for scanning, or at least works well with software that comes with the Mac.

Fujitsu

I love the products from Fujitsu. I have never found a better solution for scanning documents. I have 5100m which is a little more then the price you suggest however I will be getting the new mobile scanner which is mush closer in price. Here it is.

Good luck.

Canon makes great scanners.

Think about it... a scan is basically a photo of a document. Canon makes great cameras and those technologies are incorporated into the scanners.

If you want the best, get the Fujitsu ScanSnap s510m.

I've hardly seen such glowing reviews for a product

Plus you can get a $50 rebate through the manufacturer.
